North Carolina Perinatal Association 11 months ago Meet the NCPA Board – Audrey Loper, MPH, MS, LCCE, CD(DONA)Current Position: Evaluation Consultant, Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiatives (TPPI)Fun Fact: Audrey can pick up almost anything with her toes.Audrey Loper has worked in maternal and child health for 12 years, and currently serves as the Treasurer for NCPA. She is the Evaluation Consultant for TPPI's Adolescent Parenting Program (APP), which provides intensive home visiting to pregnant and parenting teens. APP provides education on reproductive health and positive parenting with the goal of helping young parents build a better future for themselves and their child. Previously Audrey has worked as a research assistant at UNC Chapel Hill, where she visited over 300 postpartum women in their homes. She received her Master of Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill, and her Master of Science from The University of California, Davis. Audrey completed her birth doula certification with DONA in 2006 and her Lamaze certification in 2015, and has recently started teaching Expectant Parent Classes at UNC REX Healthcare.
